Ever wanted to have a go at bowls? Lightning Ridge Bowling Club has opened the greens for a new group, specifically for women.
The new women’s social bowls program started last month and is gaining momentum, with participation reportedly doubling after just one session.
Lunge Club gives women of all ages the opportunity to try lawn bowls in a relaxed setting, with no previous experience required. The aim is to introduce them to the sport as well as provide a relaxed atmosphere to try something new. […]
