Week two of the school holidays is almost here, and there is plenty on offer to keep young people active, connected and having fun, thanks to Maranguka working alongside Bourke Shire Council.

Sacred Sports runs at the PCYC from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (13 to 17 July), led by Maranguka. Transport can be arranged through Willie on 0409 827 979.

Songline Skateboarding hits Central Park from 10am to 2pm next Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July, run by Bourke Shire Council. For more information, contact Shara on 02 5868 9000.

Lego and Craft is on at Bourke Public Library from 10am on Thursday 16 July, also run by Bourke Shire Council. Contact Jodi Hatch on 6872 2751 for details.

Rounding out the week, a Comedy Workshop will be held at Bourke Community Centre from 11am to 1pm on Saturday 18 July, led by Maranguka. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential; call or text Chantelle Rich on 0410 379 724 to secure a spot.

General transport is also available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 6pm and 11pm. To arrange a pick-up, call REDI.E on 0460 806 776.

You can reach Maranguka at 12 Darling Street, Bourke, on 02 5868 9000, or by email at admin@maranguka.org.au. More information about our work can be found at maranguka.org.au.
