Wheels on the ground, eyes on the sky for Roy’s RFDS quest

Two wheels on the road, helping keep wings in the sky, that’s the message rolling into Bourke this week as Member for Barwon Roy Butler rides into town backing the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the vital role it plays across the Outback.
Mr Butler’s appearance in Bourke is part of his epic motorbike journey from Sydney to Broken Hill, using the ride to raise funds and awareness for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Arriving at the Back O’Bourke Exhibition Centre just after 1pm today, Thursday 30 April, locals were expected to be out in numbers to see Mr Butler, eager to show their support for an organisation that provides a vital medical service to outback communities.
