Western Local Lands Board meet in Bourke

The board of the Western Local Land Services held its quarterly meeting at the heritage-listed Local Lands Building in Bourke last week.

The Board meet throughout the year via video conferencing at three of their meetings, with one face to face meeting held annually, within their vast area.

Chair of the Board Magnus Aitken said the Western Local Land Service region is the largest in New South Wales, covering forty per cent of the state. The board spreads the face to face meeting around the region, and this meeting was allocated to Bourke.
