Wellness workshops for Bourke and Brewarrina

A Wellness Workshop series was launched at Brewarrina and Bourke this week, the beginning of a 14-month program, hosted by Orana Haven Hub.

Coordinator at Orana Haven Hub, Danielle Caruana said the Wellness Workshops series is being presented by Tracy Hardy, a Gamilaroi woman and founder of her own business, Wattleseed Nutrition Health and Wellbeing.

“It’s a 14-month program, which will be held one day per month, “Ms Caruana said. “We are exploring nutrition, health and wellbeing, earth mindfulness, food, nutrition and culturally grounded healing.”

Facilitator, Tracy Hardy, is an accredited nutritionist, practicing dietitian and is currently based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

“She’s worked in the health industry, healing, and wellbeing space, first as an organic beauty therapist and then as an accredited nutritionist, practicing dietitian and Aboriginal healing practitioner,” Ms Caruana said. […]
