The Warren Pumas ground out a hard-earned 26–21 victory over the Bourke-Bre Barbarians at Brewarrina on Saturday afternoon in the match of the round.

The contest lived up to expectations, with momentum swings throughout. Warren finished with four tries and three conversions, while the Barbarians scored three converted tries.

The Barbarians were unable to capitalise on opportunities, something that proved the difference. Warren’s composure in tight situations saw them grind out an important win in a physical encounter. […]
