Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man from Walgett wanted on outstanding warrants.

Tony Murray, aged 38, is wanted on outstanding arrest warrants in relation to assault, robbery, and traffic offences.

He is of Aboriginal appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Mr Murray is known to frequent the Walgett and Orange areas.

Anyone who sees Mr Murray is urged not to approach him and to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
