Walgett District Show — this weekend! Fun and games for kids — and grown ups

Organisers of the Walgett show plan to deliver two days of fun, excitement and community connection when the turnstiles open on Saturday.

Master of all the fun and games of the show this year is Scott White, who said the show committee had worked hard to make sure there was plenty of entertainment for the kids.

For the first time in the western region, the Cosplay Guardian will be performing, as well as CirqueUm Navigate, an entertainment troupe performing magic tricks, fire shows and other circus-style acts.

“We’ve got an animal farm also for the kiddies, there’s a colouring competition, which you can get involved with before the show. We also have the sideshows, a bike and ute show, and a lolly drop for the kids after 4pm on Saturday,” Scott said. […]
