The Bourke Tribal Council and the team at Maranguka had a rare opportunity to engage with a key official within the NSW Premier’s Department during a tour of Bourke last week.

Simon Draper is Secretary of the NSW Premier’s Department, and he visited Bourke with senior colleagues Gerry Collins and Sophie Murray-Farrell. The visit provided an opportunity for Maranguka to share the current challenges facing Bourke and discuss how its community-led approach continues to deliver positive change for local families and children.
