Tibooburra Saddle Bronc School a huge success – from Bella O’Brien
NSW’s remotest town of Tibooburra welcomed three international rodeo champions for the recent Saddle Bronc and Mini Bull Riding School on the weekend.
Twenty-five enthusiastic cowboys and cowgirls travelled from across Australia to the capital of The Corner Country, to learn from the best.
Thirteen-time American National Finals Rodeo (NFR) Qualifier Jesse Bail, from Camp Crook, South Dakota USA, was joined by Canadian Champion and many time American NFR qualifier Dusty Hausauer, from Dickinson, North Dakota USA.
Canadian Cowboy Association Title holder, many time NFR qualifier and renowned judge Rhett Fitzpatrick of Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan Canada accompanied Bail and Hausauer.
Passionate to share their knowledge and expertise with Australia’s young riders, they jumped at the opportunity to instruct a school in the outback.
The three-day school followed Cinch Australia’s inaugural ‘Australian Open International Bronc Match’ in Scone. Twelve international riders travelled to Scone from America and Canada, with Bail and Hausauer competing in the match with Fitzpatrick judging.
