The Quokkas return for free family concerts

The Quokkas are coming back out west, with the colourful children’s band returning to Bourke and Brewarrina as part of an expanded rural tour next month.

CatholicCare Wilcannia-Forbes (CCWF) is bringing the five-piece band back to the region following a successful visit last year, with free concerts planned for Bourke on Thursday 8 October and Brewarrina on Friday 9 October 9.

CCWF Delivery Leader Belinda Bell said the organisation was delighted to welcome the Newcastle-based group back.

“We had the Quokkas out in the area last year and they loved their tour, so we’re lucky that they’re able to come out again this year.”[…]
