Bourke High School

Two students from Bourke High School are earning widespread admiration and respect from the Bourke community.

Kruz Ryan, a Year 12 student, and Trae Wilson, in Year 10, have both demonstrated exceptional qualities and are emerging as both role models and leaders.

Kruz, who has been at Bourke High since Year 7, has grown immensely in confidence over the years.

His journey at the school reached a new height when he was elected as the school’s Vice-Captain, a role that showcases his leadership abilities and the high esteem in which he is held by both students and staff.

“Being Vice-Captain is cool and makes me happy. I like telling the students to do the right thing and listen to their teachers,” Kruz said.

In addition to his role as Vice-Captain, Kruz’s dedication extends beyond the classroom, representing the school in rugby league and recently performing as a vocalist and dancer in the school’s music group 28 On Top’s song ‘All That You Need.’

Kruz recently earned his White Card, allowing him to work on construction sites, marking another step in his personal and professional growth. […]
