Success at School Wether Competition
Bourke High School
Bourke High School secured first place in their group for the visual carcass category at the NSW School Wether Competition, held during the Rabobank National Merino Show in Dubbo on Tuesday and Wednesday August 27 and 28.
The event, which attracted over 400 students from 70 schools across New South Wales, highlighted the future of the state’s agricultural industry.
It brought together industry experts, farmers, and students to celebrate and advance the field of sheep farming, giving students a platform to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in sheep management, including breeding, wool production, and carcass evaluation.
