Stylish Women’s Day in Bre

The women of Brewarrina celebrated International Women’s Day in style with a high tea last Friday.

Brewarrina Aboriginal Child and Family Centre was the place to be on March 8, 2024 as local women celebrated International Women’s Day with colourful dress and delicious food.

“We had a great turnout of around twenty women as well as women from the Centre,” said Urayne Warraweena from Brewarrina Local Aboriginal Land Council who helped organise the day.

Other groups involved were Women’s Health – Western NSW Local Health District and Brewarrina Aboriginal Child and Family Centre.
