The Health Careers Academy Program (HCAP) last week offered a unique glimpse into the world of healthcare to twelve enthusiastic students from Walgett High School.

In a collaborative effort, the Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service (WAMS), the University of Sydney’s School of Rural Health in Dubbo (SRH) and Walgett Community College, combined to host this inspiring day, with the aim of sparking interest in health careers among local youth.
