St Ignatius Ball raises more than $18,000

More than $18,000 raised in a single night will help St Ignatius Parish School support its students and work towards a new school bus, after the highly anticipated St Ignatius Ball drew more than 110 people.

The black-tie event was held at the Bourke Bowling Club on Saturday night, with St Ignatius P&F president Ellie Samuelsson describing the evening as an outstanding success.

“It was fantastic event. We had over 110 attendees come through the doors,” Ellie said. “It was a really great crowd.”

The result was significant for the school, with money raised to be directed towards several projects and opportunities for students.[…]
