Smiles all round as dental care team visits Bourke

Smiles are a little wider and brighter in Bourke after a visit from a mobile dental service to Bourke Public School and Bourke High School.
The mobile dental clinic comes in a bus with two dental specialists from Dental Care Australia running a two-week clinic in Bourke treating as many children as possible.
Oral Health Therapist Elena Petrova said she was very happy with the response to the service and the treatments that she and Dental Technician Nicholas Collins had been able to give the students at both Bourke schools.
“We this year we came with our own van, which was a fully equipped mobile dental surgery,” Ms Petrova said.
“We have seen about 50 primary school students and 25 from the Bourke High school and I’m pleased to say that the oral health of Bourke kids seems to have improved.” […]
