Scott revives ‘return & earn’ in Bourke

What’s good for the environment, and good for your pocket? Return and Earn – and the recycling facility has just made a big comeback to Bourke.

Better known for his plumbing, Bourke’s Scott McAdam has ventured into a new business, providing the community with a facility to recycle cans and bottles.

It has been about six months now since the service last operated in Bourke, previously located in the Bourke Laundry Service on the corner of Oxley and Richard Streets.

Scott said that he expressed interest in running the facility and was awarded the rights.

“We’re starting slow to get in the flow of things, but you can find Return and Earn at the end of High Street on the right,” Scott said. […]
