School holiday activities at Bourke, Bre and Walgett

With most of the school holidays done, there have been plenty of activities on offer at Bourke and Brewarrina to keep the kids engaged – it’s probably not surprising if they are already exhausted!

In Bourke, the school holiday activities have been jam-packed with activities to keep local youth busy.

Activities group, StormCo hosted a pinnacle climbing challenge in the park and were also active at the Bourke pool complex where plenty of kids enjoyed the chance to cool off.

Last Tuesday the team headed out to North Bourke, enjoyed the weather, and did their bit for the environment by taking plenty of carp from the local river.

Bourke PCYC also led an excursion out to Mount Gundabooka where youth got to be on country and learn about culture, and there was also a trip out to Toorale National Park. […]
