Ronnie’s 1981 WB ute steals the show

Bourke car restorers Ron and Belinda Cunningham took out the big award at the Bourke Historic Vehicle Club’s Show ‘n’ Shine at the Bourke Show on Saturday.

Ronnie and Belinda bought along their beautifully restored 1981 Holden WB ute took out the prize for ‘Overall Vehicle of the Day’ and the prize for ‘Best Historic Paintwork’.

Ronnie said he has a passion for restoring vintage Australian cars and enjoyed showing his 1981 WB ute.

Another outstanding vehicle on the day was a superb 1907 Kiblinger vehicle imported from the USA by Ken Dunne of Cobar and lovingly restored with original colours and style. Ken won the highly prized award People’s Choice Award

Judges on the day were the salesmen from Western Plains Auto, who kindly filled in to ensure there were neutral judges on hand. […]
