Preparing for a busy Easter Festival at Bourke

Bourke is gearing up for one of its biggest community weekends of the year, with preparations in full swing for the Back O’Bourke Easter Festival, scheduled for April 3rd – 6th.

Economic Development Manager for Bourke Shire Council Mel Milgate said organisers were putting the final touches on the program and encouraged any remaining groups to submit their event details.

“We recently finalised the weekend’s schedule,” Ms Milgate said. “If any sporting groups still need to give us details, we would really appreciate it so we can get their information on the calendar. […]
