Pools opening at Bre and Walgett

As summer approaches, making a splash in the local pools at Brewarrina, Walgett and Bourke Shires becomes a high priority.

With the Bourke Pool already open for business, Brewarrina and Walgett Shires are not far behind.

At Brewarrina Shire, the council is thrilled to announce that two pools are set to open this weekend – and they are free for all!

General Manager Brewarrina Shire Council General Manager David Kirby said the new Goodooga Splash Park was something that has been eagerly awaited by the community.

“With the weather warming up, I am very excited the swim season is upon us, with the Brewarrina Memorial Pool and the brand-new Goodooga Splash Park both set to open this coming weekend,” Mr Kirby said. […]
