Outback Opal Hunters surprise visit

Visitors to the Chambers of the Black Hand in Lightning Ridge were surprised last Wednesday May 10 when the stars and crew of the Outback Opal Hunters show arrived for an unannounced visit.

The popular Lightning Ridge miners, including Rod Manning (aka Bushman), Les Walsh, and Sam Mehan, visited the Chambers to do some business for their show.

The visit caused a stir among staff and guests who were 40 feet underground when the crew arrived.

While the content of the filming is under wraps, it was reported that the on-set antics were hilariousd will make for a great show.[…]
