Nutrien and CareFlight deliver life-saving training in Bourke

Pastoralists and those working in the local agriculture sector have been equipped with practical, life-saving skills as part of an initiative to make every minute count on the scene of a traumatic incident.
The partnership between Nutrien and CareFlight has delivered Emergency Trauma Training to 176 rural and regional communities across Australia over the past three years, with a further 50 agricultural communities set to complete the training in 2026.
Last week a team of educators from CareFlight delivered an Emergency Trauma Training workshop in Bourke.
CareFlight CEO Mick Frewen said what happens in the first few minutes after an accident can mean the difference between life and death, particularly in a rural setting when medical services can be hundreds of kilometres away. […]
