The Bourke Bowling Club is embarking on a new chapter with upgraded facilities, a new green – and a new man at the helm.

Jarryd Samuelsson is the newly appointed Secretary-Manager, and he knows the club from the ground up - literally.

Jarryd is a keen bowler, the former greenskeeper at the club, was also a member of the board for several years, and is now looking forward to steering the organisation into the future.

“My role is the day-to-day running of the club, the direction it’s going in and whatever the patrons and the members need - I put it into practice,” he said.

“The Bourke Bowling Club has been a bit like my second home for me, so I am very happy to be taking on the leadership role at the club.” […]
