New housing subdivision for North Bourke

Housing blocks at North Bourke are very popular these days, and a new rural subdivision could soon reshape the village, with plans lodged approved to carve nine lots out of land at 90 Dowling Track – the site of the original Mansell table grape farm.

The development application, submitted on 2 September 2025, by Premise Australia Pty Ltd on behalf of landowners RJ and SA Davis, proposes a Torrens title subdivision of Lot 212 DP 787811.

The site is located north-west of the North Bourke township and the Darling River, with Bourke Airport adjoining the land to the north and west.

Under the proposal, nine lots would be created across the site, with most of the land currently vacant. An existing dwelling and associated outbuildings will be retained on one of the proposed. […]
