New facilities at Brewarrina TAFE

A $1 million investment of improved facilities at Brewarrina TAFE has been completed and is ready for new students to enjoy.

Work will be completed this week on multi-purpose classroom spaces, new amenities, staff offices, as well as break out spaces for learners and staff at Brewarrina TAFE.

An outdoor learning circle and landscaping is also part of the refurbished space.

“We are welcoming new enrolments to our upgraded facility,” Education Support Officer, Lacey Boney said.

“So, please come and visit our upgraded campus and experience our Connected Classrooms and Student Hub.”

The modern and engaging learning environment for the Brewarrina TAFE was also enthusiastically welcomed by Tiff Winters, Manager TAFE Services (Bourke, Brewarrina, Cobar & Nyngan) and Co-Chair Aboriginal Staff Network.

“It’s exciting to offer upgraded amenities for students, as well as staff,” Tiff said. “Our new connected learning points means we will be able to offer a greater range of remote courses to local people than we could previously.” […]
