New faces, the future of health services in the bush

Two fresh new faces joined the team at the Western NSW Local Health District as part of their university education in Bourke recently. Jack Dawson is studying Exercise Science and Sport Science, and Dan Breen Kamkong is studying Exercise Physiology at The University of Sydney.

Both young men recently completed a 4-week blended Bourke and Brewarrina placement block through the University of Sydney’s Broken Hill University Department of Rural Health (BH-UDRH), which is a  Commonwealth-supported program to help develop the future health workforce through rural exposure placement opportunities like  Jack and Dans.
