The Northy Hotel in North Bourke is a much-loved watering hole for travellers and locals, and now, thanks to hard work and a ‘have a go’ attitude, the Northy is getting another lease on life.

This week, it opens its doors under new management, with a fresh new menu, updated interior but the same friendly atmosphere enjoyed by locals and travellers pulling in for a bite to eat and a coldie.

Swetha Sappa, husband Pratap and close friend Prahindra Valluripalli took yet another leap into the unknown when they decided to take on the three-year lease on the Northy just a few weeks ago. […]
