New Chair for Far North West Joint Organisation

The Mayor of Cobar Shire, Councillor Jarrod Marsden was elected unopposed as the Chairman of the Far North West Joint Organisation at a meeting the Joint Organisation held in Bourke on Monday (4 November).

Councillor Marsden takes the place of Barry Hollman the former Mayor of Bourke who did not contest the Local Government Elections held in September this year.

Councillor Marsden said he was looking forward to working with the other two Mayors and the General Managers and staff at the three member Councils to build upon and enhance the strong reputation that the Far North West Joint Organisation has enjoyed over the period since its inception. […]
