Mick Willoughby takes out top honours

Following the grand final on Saturday Mick Willoughby was declared Player of the Year in the 2024/25 Bourke District Cricket Competition.

Mick won the award after scoring 167 runs at a batting average of 55.67, taking 10 wickets at a bowling average of 15.4, and taking 3 catches.

In the formal presentation of awards for 2024/25, Mick was also declared the Player of the Grand Final after he scored 39 runs and took 3 wickets for 31 off 7 overs.

President of the Bourke District Cricket Competition Ben Nott congratulated the Two Waterholes team on winning the 2024/25 competition.

“Two Waterholes has been the best team all year and ended up on top again, Ben said.
