Maranguka steps up during school holidays

During the Easter school holidays Maranguka Community Hub facilitated a wide range of activities to help keep Bourke’s young people busy and occupied.

This was another successful school holiday program, run in partnership with local service providers including PCYC, Mission Australia, Catholic Care, and Uniting Care.

Activities last week included a day trip to Gundabooka National Park, a family fun day at the Men’s Hub, cultural dance workshops, art workshops, and a fishing trip.

There was also another round of the highly successful Maranguka TRYP boot camp at the school (to reach your potential), working with primary school aged children focusing on fitness, health, and wellbeing. […]
