Local aboriginal artists Kymeesha Shillingsworth and her grandfather Bruce Shillingsworth Snr have designed the artwork for the Sydney Kings Basketball team uniform, to be worn in this year’s Indigenous round.

And Kymeesha, a 9-year-old, year 4 student at Koinonia Christian Academy, has been invited along with her family, to attend the Indigenous round to be played in Sydney on the 29th May.

The official launch of the uniform took place in Sydney on Monday 17th May.

Bruce Shillingsworth Snr recently attended a conference at Olympic Park in Homebush where he spoke to the players about the meaning of the artwork.
