Lightning Ridge Opal Festival underway!

The popular Lightning Ridge Opal and Gem Festival is currently underway, and there’s still plenty of time to get along to the four-day celebration of all things opal.

Opening on Wednesday July 24, the annual festival has once again attracted jewellers, buyers, wholesalers, miners, rockhounds, lapidary enthusiasts and tourists from all over Australia, filling Lightning Ridge to the brim with people!

According to Sally Weeks, the Event Coordinator for the Lightning Ridge Opal and Gem Festival, it is a great chance to experience the best that Lightning Ridge has to offer with plenty of stallholders, spectacular jewellery, collectables, great deals, and fantastic networking opportunities. […]
