Lifestyle gardening group enriches lives

Sheltered within the Lightning Ridge Community Gardens, the ‘Positive Lifestyle Gardening Group’ meets every Wednesday morning from 8:30 and offers a unique blend of horticulture and mental wellness activities.

This innovative initiative, designed to cultivate positivity and community spirit, is spearheaded by Sara Smith, AOD Community Engagement Officer for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Wellbeing Place.

Sara describes the meetings as “a nurturing environment for everyone involved.”

“It’s not just gardening, we’re planting the seeds of positivity and growth in all aspects of our lives.”
