Lawn Bowls — Joan Dickson and Lacey Orcher women’s pairs champions
Joan Dickson and Lacey Orcher have taken out the 2021women’s pairs championship after defeating Barb Davis and Mel Driscoll 21-13.
In a game that was neck and neck all the way, Joan and Lacey picked up a seven late in the game, to guarantee victory. Well done ladies.
In the minor pairs the team of Daniel Lawson and Scott Willoughby defeated Rob Dickison and Sam Simmons 24-19. And the team of Brad Cross and Brett Shields defeated Janelle Hambrook and Joan Dickson 23-18.
In the major pairs George Dickson and Guy Regan defeated Brad Cross and Shane Bates 24-17.
Dash for Cash had 10 players on Wednesday night with the winners being Rob Dickison, Sam Simmons, and Max Ingleton. Dash for Cash will be on again this Wednesday night and names must be on the board by 6:30 for a 7 start. The blue dot jackpot is at $3,500 with all winning teams getting a shot.
