Latayah rows for gold!

Overcoming her self-doubts, Bourke athlete Latayah Towney has rowed her way to a gold medal.
Only last week, just before the start of the new term, Latayah competed in back-to-back regattas for her school, Loreto Normanhurst in Sydney, in the Independent Girls’ Schools Association competition.
Latayah competed as part of the Year 8 Quad team, winning a bronze medal and a gold medal in their events.
Latayah’s mother, Angel Carter of Bourke, is justifiably proud of her daughter’s achievements.
