Rugby league is alive and well in Bourke, with 50 men proudly representing the shire at the Dubbo Waratahs Knockout this weekend. The Knockout is proving to be a highly anticipated football event, with huge crowd numbers and an increasing number of players and teams signing up for the competition.
This was the very first year the Bourke Warriors Next Generation sides took part, and they certainly had an impact.
From the younger players in their first big competition for Bourke to the seasoned Warriors, the two Bourke Next Generation teams made their hometown proud.
