Walgett Community College High School relieving Executive Principal Louise Barnott-Clement has been recognised in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours with Public Service Medal.

People awarded Public Service Medal must be a current or former public service employees(Commonwealth, state, territory, or local government) and must have demonstrated exceptional service, well above and beyond normal job expectations.

Ms Barnott-Clement, previously at South-West Sydney’s Ambarvale High School, was recognised for her ‘outstanding and compassionate leadership’ and ‘an unwavering focus on equity and inclusion for every student’.

Ms Barnott-Clement’s ability to identify and nurture emerging leaders, playing a key role in the Camden Network Aspiring Leaders initiative and mentoring more than 100 future school leaders, was also recognised. […]
