The Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (BACHS) has announced the appointment of Jay Forrester as its new Chief Executive Officer, following several months in the acting role.

Mr Forrester, a Wiradjuri man from Dubbo, brings more than a decade of experience in Aboriginal health across rural, remote, and urban settings. He has worked as a registered nurse and Aboriginal health practitioner, as well as holding leadership roles in program development and executive management.

Prior to stepping into the CEO role, Mr Forrester served as Deputy CEO of BACHS, where he led improvements in service delivery, staff development and cross-program collaboration. He said the opportunity to return closer to home and contribute to a service with strong community connections was a major factor in his decision to take on the role. […]
