The world has always played tricks with twins, and twins have played tricks with the world.
Kylie Fisher is no stranger to subterfuge, especially having worked as an undercover detective in Bourke. She chose to come here in 1995 for three years but stayed for 30.
At first, she kept a “failed” police dog called Harley by her side, a meticulously trained canine that would only eat when told, except for the part where he couldn’t cope with loud noises, such as gunfire.
Eventually Kylie met her husband, a protective farmer who would drive nearby when Kylie was dealing with riots and the like, which was both embarrassing and amusing for her. […]
