Hungerford Gymkhana delivers three days of power and skill

The 2025 Hungerford Gymkhana delivered three days of power and skill - on four legs and two wheels. Over the three days, some of the region’s best motorcyclists and horse riders competed in specialised events as well as the ever-popular Double Barrel Showdown between the horse and motorbike.
Although the numbers were down this year, competitors and spectators soaked up the fun, excitement and sportsmanship on display across the three days. The Gymkhana is an important community and fund-raising event, and a unique combination of mechanical and animal horsepower. Twenty-four horses were nominated for events, with 14 in the open category and 10 in the children’s events.
