Help shape the future of Walgett Shire

Walgett Shire Council is hitting the road this month, inviting locals across the shire to have their say on the future of their communities.

A series of public consultation meetings around the Walgett local government area will form part of the Council’s public exhibition period for its Draft Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program, key documents that outline council’s goals and priorities for the next four years.

Walgett Shire Council Interim General Manager, Andrew Brown, said community input was crucial to setting the direction for council’s work over the present term.
