Brewarrina Shire Council is considering the sale of vacant land in Goodooga to encourage development and address increasing inquiries about property availability in the region.

At last week’s Brewarrina Shire Council meeting, Councillors passed a motion to authorise the General Manager to obtain a valuation for 42-44 Hammond Street in Goodooga and an adjacent vacant lot.

The land will then be advertised for sale, with the General Manager empowered to finalise a contract at or above the valuation price. If all offers fall below valuation, Council will review them before proceeding. […]
