It’s time to pull on the cowboy boots, slide into your denims, slap on the Akubra, and head to the Bre RSL for some Bootscootin’ fun!

Line dancing is back in a big way in Bre and it’s time to join the ‘Get Yer Boots On’ Bre line dancing class.

It’s on at the Bre RSL every Thursday from 6pm and instructor Trish Dawson said everyone is welcome – even if you have two left feet!

“Beginners can get as much out of the line dancing as people with more experience,” Trish said. “The first hour is some of the easier routines and then it gets a bit harder, but anyone is welcome to stay for the whole class, which runs for about two hours every Thursday.

“Every week we learn some new moves and practice some of the popular routines and have a lot of fun.

“We started out at the Bre RSL a couple of years ago, and had an instructor, but he had to move on. We loved it so much we decided to keep going, so I took on the role of instructor and learnt a lot of choreography, and we’ve been able to keep the group going ever since. […]
