Fresh energy and old favourites at Bourke Show this Saturday!

Visitors to the Bourke Show are in for more than just the usual fun, food, and fireworks this Saturday.

With brand new facilities to help things run smoother, the event is shaping up to be one of the best yet.

A purpose-built secretary’s office and amenities block will provide a much-needed improvement to facilities used by the Bourke Show committee.

The new Secretary’s building is the result of a joint effort between the Bourke P&A Show Association and the Back O’Bourke Race Club.

President of the Bourke Show Society Ben Ritchie said the new office was a much-needed upgrade.

“Our old secretary’s office was dark, cramped, and outdated,” he said.

“This new space is bright, functional, and for the race meetings, it also includes amenities for both male and female jockeys – it’s a huge improvement.” […]
