Out at Fords Bridge on Saturday Fordsy thrashed Two Water Holes by ten wickets after Adam McLean took the Two Water Holes attack apart – scoring the first century of this season.

Two Water Holes won the toss, elected to bat, and got an excellent start as openers Mick Jackson (22) and Will Carney (29) got the visitors away to a reasonable start.

First drop Russell Tiffen also chipped in with a handy 21 runs and when Russel was caught behind by Adam McLean off David Turnbull, Tow Water Holes has a half respectable total of 4/86.

From there on, the Two Water Holes batting collapsed to be all out for 125 off just 23.5 overs, with only Matt Clarke (11) and Dave Marr (13) making it to double figures.

The last six Water Holes wickets fell for the addition of just 39 runs, and that included a good number of extras.

Fordsy’s best bowling came from Brad Cross who took 5 wickets for just 4 runs off 3.5 overs for an unbelievable economy rate of 1.04. […]
