Fiona Rankmore honoured with life membership

Bourke’s Fiona Rankmore has been presented with Life Membership of the Bourke District MPS Hospital Auxiliary after almost 30 years of active service.
At a small ceremony at Bourke Hospital last week, Fiona was presented with her Life membership certificate by President of the Bourke Auxiliary Trish Taylor.
Mrs Tayor congratulated Fiona and said that Fiona deserved to be given life membership in recognition of her long and valuable service.
“There are only 12 life memberships given out by the United Hospital Auxiliaries each year, which goes to show how well Fiona’s work is regarded,” she said.
“Life Membership is only awarded to a limited number of candidates each year and is the highest recognition of service to the United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW.”
Fiona joined the Bourke District Hospital MPS Auxiliary in 1994 and has been an active member for close to 30 years. She has also held the position of Secretary for many years.
Fiona’s efforts were also recognised at an address given to the UHA State Conference on 24 October. […]
