Father Oche becomes local Police Chaplain for region

A moving ceremony was held within the Bourke Police Station on Tuesday, to commission and welcome the newest Police Chaplain, Father Oche Matutina.
Father Oche is well known and much-loved within the Bourke community and his investiture as a Police Chaplain is a significant occasion for Central North Police District officers and staff and the broader regional community.
Leading the service was Senior Chaplain Reverend Ian Schoonwater, along with District Commander Superintendent Gerard Lawson and police officers and staff.
