Farewell to Ross and Annette Earl
A large crowd turned up at the Back O’Bourke Function centre on Saturday night to farewell the General Manager of Bourke Shire Council – Ross Earl, and his wife Annette.
Bourke Shire Councillors, council staff members and former colleagues packed into the centre to hear several speeches congratulating Mr Earl on his achievements over the past eight years.
Surprise guests at the farewell were Ross and Annette’s daughter Jaimie, and her partner Luke and their two sons Brenton and Cameron. A second daughter Gillian, and her husband Jean-Luc from Canada, came in via video to congratulate Ross on eight years of service at Bourke, and a lifetime of service in local government.
